A School with History. A Brand in Need of a New Voice.
As Tape Cassette® kept building its presence on social media, one of our silent admirers was Mr. Prince, a second-generation entrepreneur and the future head of Emmanuel Groups of Schools.
When it was time for him to take the reins, he didn’t want to simply maintain the system—he wanted to refresh the brand, update the identity, and modernize the perception. He reached out casually, and we sat down to discuss how we could help reposition the school.
Just a New Logo
The original plan was to retain the name but redesign the school’s logo—give it a more modern feel while keeping some familiar visual elements. Like many institutions, the initial belief was, "Change the logo, apply it everywhere, and that’s enough."
But that was just the beginning.
Crafting a Modern Yet Rooted Logo
We started by developing several logo concepts, ultimately collaborating with Mr. Prince to finalize a simpler, more modern design. This new logo incorporated contemporary color tones while still being firmly rooted in the brand's legacy.
Comprehensive Design Language Overhaul
Beyond just a logo refresh, we proposed and implemented a complete design language overhaul. This included a full suite of new stationery and brand-consistent communication tools, creating a cohesive visual system.
Uncopyable Brand Distinction
Understanding the prevalent imitation in Bihar's school branding landscape, we designed a unique system that was impossible for competitors to copy. This solved the issue of duplicate or lookalike designs, allowing the brand to truly stand out through its originality.
Premium Positioning Through Innovative Collateral
We introduced print formats and creative collateral that the school had never considered. This strategic move effectively positioned Emmanuel not merely as another CBSE school, but as a premium CBSE institution with a strong, forward-looking identity.
Talk of the Town—and a Shift in Perception
Emmanuel’s new look sparked conversations beyond their campus walls.
Other school owners and administrators began noticing the change. They saw how strong branding, creative design, and a thoughtful visual communication system could reshape how a school was perceived.
Mr. Prince's vision transformed Emmanuel from a traditional academic institution into one that provided premium education with a progressive edge.
